Background Designs

These are some background designs for my final piece. i created them in maya, as i wanted to create an image that showed the actual style and direction of the film. 

Much of the film is set on a train: the '8.33 to moscow.' wending it's way through eastern europe in the 1930's. i wanted to create a very art deco feel for train itself; exemplifying the style and mood of the rest of the film. for reference i looked to Hitchcock's film 'Strangers On A Train'
